Now that you know a little bit about me and my family. It is time to introduce you to my beloved home. Cebu City is located on the island of Cebu in the central part of the Philippines. The dialect that is spoken there is called Cebuano (me and my family can speak Cebuano fluently). It is estimated that around 4 million people live in Cebu City. It is vibrant place. There are people everywhere you look. It is so different when me and my family to come to America. We don't see anyone walking on the side of the road or sitting in front of their houses like they do in the Philippines. The smells of our big city are also very interesting. Since it is so hot, the garbage reeks and the rivers stink. Every place you go has its own unique smell. Some good, and some bad:)
Talking about differences, there are many differences between America and the Philippines (other than the smells, the roads, and the people). But I will tell you more about those in my next post:) Until then:)
