Missions Conference:
This past week, Faith Bible Baptist Church, the church where Gideon and I are staying for college, had their annual missions conference. It was so much fun! When traveling with my parents, missions conferences were always my favorite meetings because you got to see old friends and meet new ones.
This missions conference was no exception.
As a missionary kid, I have seen all angles of missions conferences. I have seen it from the missionary side, the member side, and now the secretary side. All sides are different and each has its own uniqueness to it. Many people may not realize the planning and work that goes into a missions conference, but they also may not see the fun and enjoyment you get out of it! Laughter and mistakes are all apart of the planning and executing of a missions conference! For example, we hung up the countries and their labels on the walls of the church. We accidentally labeled two different countries with the same name. So five minutes before church, when we realized what we had done, we made a mad dash for the office to fix the mistake. Haha Such fun times! All I can say is, "Thank you Lord for all these experiences!"
