Wonderful Times!

These past couple of weeks of being home have been wonderful! We have been so busy with preparations for camp! Everything from choir practices, prep days, and shopping trips have consumed our time! Last Sunday after church, a big group headed to camp to help set up. We stayed up till about midnight, then headed to bed! The next day, the campers started arriving, and camp officially started! We had 6 teams and 264 campers. Me and my brother Gideon were able to be leaders at camp this year! It was such a blessing to see some of the teens in my group make decisions to serve God and do right! I was so happy to have a couple members from my team last year join my team again this year! Just to see them serving God and doing right a year later encourages me! Pastor Ben, also known as “Uncle Ben” to us Lewis children, came from America just to preach camp! All of his messages were very practical and applicable! Many decisions were made and many lives were changed! I am so happy he was able to come! Another important part of the camp was the food, and I have to say we had some amazing food this past week! We had everything from pork chop to fried chicken and spaghetti! The kitchen staff did great job! As for the games, Pastor Chris and Aunt Elizabeth were outstanding! The campers loved all of the games, but I think their favorite was the war game! This was a more complex game with 10 different stations and activities. Teams were running everywhere! It was great! What a wonderful week of camp!
